  2. water - 50ml for tangzhong, 70ml for dough (for tangzhong, tepid for dough)
  3. bread flour - 210g (for dough)
  4. instant dried yeast - 6g
  5. white sugar - 10g
  6. salt - 4g
  7. milk - 10ml (tepid)
  8. egg - 1 (room temperature)
  9. unsalted butter - 30g (room temperature, softened)
  10. olive oil - a little bit
  11. tasty cheese - to taste (grated)
  12. mozzarella cheese - to taste (grated)
  13. diced bacon - to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare Tangzhong: Mix 10g of bread flour with 50ml of water. Cook over medium heat until thickened.
  2. Make Dough: In a mixing bowl, combine 210g of bread flour, 6g of instant dried yeast, 10g of white sugar, and 4g of salt. Add 70ml of tepid water, 10ml of tepid milk, one room temperature egg, and the tangzhong. Mix well.
  3. Add Butter: Gradually add 30g of softened unsalted butter to the dough and mix on high for 10 minutes.
  4. First Rise: Cover the dough with a little bit of olive oil, cover, and let it double in size, about 1 to 2 hours.
  5. Shape Rolls: Divide the dough into four pieces, roll them into balls, and place them on a tray. Cover and let rise for another hour.
  6. Add Toppings: Press each dough ball into diced bacon and top with grated tasty cheese and mozzarella.
  7. Bake: Bake in a preheated oven at 190°C/375°F for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
