Left Hand vs Boulevardier. The Boulevardier (bourbon whiskey, Campari & sweet vermouth) emerged around the year 1927, 7 years after the Negroni (gin, Campari & sweet vermouth) was created. It wasn't until the early 2000s that Sam Ross created a Manhattan/Negroni mash up known as the Left Hand (bourbon whiskey, Campari, sweet vermouth & chocolate bitters). It went on to become somewhat of a modern classic and was part of a series of "hand" cocktails that the Milk & Honey team created - The Right Hand featured an aged rum, Tres Hand was made with mezcal and tequila, and the Smoking Hand contained an Islay and Highland whisky. 🧀 BOSKA CHEESE SLICER: https://amzn.to/3ICBl1x ***** 📚 BUY MY BOOK: https://bit.ly/STB-cocktail-guide 📱 ANDROID APP: http://bit.ly/get-cocktails-app 🍏 iOS APP: http://bit.ly/essential-cocktails-app 🍾 10 ESSENTIAL BOTTLES: https://bit.ly/stevethebartenderbottles ***** LEFT HAND 1.5 oz / 45 ml bourbon whiskey 0.75 oz / 22.5 ml Campari 0.75 oz / 22.5 ml sweet vermouth 3 dash chocolate bitters BOULEVARDIER 1.5 oz / 45 ml bourbon whiskey 1 oz / 30 ml Campari 1 oz / 30 ml sweet vermouth Garnish - orange twist
