Fail Vlog 1 - "New Wave" Shoyu Ramen, What Did I do Wrong?

I had planned to try and attempt a simple shoyu ramen that would be a great first soup for beginners. Turns out, maybe it's not so easy for beginners because my batch turned out terrible. I really felt like I did everything right so I was a little confused about why it turned out so bad. Rather than just throw away the footage, I thought it might be a great learning opportunity. I could put the footage out there of what I did and ask people what I did wrong. So that's what I plan to do. I'll be sending this video to some of my friends who are great at making ramen, and I'll try to get feedback on what I can do to make a better soup. Then I'll make a follow-up video and we can all learn some solid ways to extract chicken soup from a chicken. Ingredients I used: 2kg chicken parts 2L Water Ramen: 30ml High quality Japanese soy sauce 20ml chicken fat 300ml soup drop of mirin small amount of lemon zest
