Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (180 degrees C) with the oven rack in the center of the oven. Line cupcake pans with paper liners. This recipe makes 16 cupcakes. Set aside. 2. In a medium mixing bowl, place the flour, corn starch, cocoa powder, salt, and baking soda. Mix well to combine. Set aside. 3. In the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment (or in a large mixing bowl using an electric hand mixer) beat together sugar, oil, egg, and vanilla until well combined about 2 minutes on medium speed, scraping down the sides and bottom of the bowl with rubber spatula. 4. In a measuring cup, place the milk, red food coloring, and vinegar. Stir well. 5. Add to the stand mixer bowl half of the dry ingredients with half of the milk mixture and mix on low speed for 30 seconds, then add the rest and mix until just combined. 6. Scoop the batter into cupcake liners, filling half of the way full. This recipe yields 16 cupcakes. 7. Bake for 18 to 20 minutes. Remove from the oven and allow to cool in the pan for 5 minutes. Transfer to a rack to cool completely. 8. Prepare the cream cheese frosting: Beat the cream cheese and butter on medium speed for 2 minutes, scraping down the sides and bottom of the bowl as needed. Add half of the powdered sugar, vanilla, and salt. Beat on low speed for 30 seconds. Add the rest of the powdered sugar and continue beating until combined. Increase the speed to medium and beat for 2 minutes until smooth and creamy. 9. Transfer the frosting to a piping bag fitted with a round tip. Before frosting, crumble one cupcake to decorate the frosting. Frost the cupcakes and decorate with cake crumbs or sprinkles. #redvelvetcupcakes #cupcakes #suhasdishes #valentinesday #dessert #sweet
