The Clover Club was created at the Waldorf-Astoria in 1901. The original creator is unknown but it's said that Michael Killackey, the head bartender, was responsible for popularising the drink. The drink came from an era where gentlemen's clubs celebrated with club-named cocktails (Pegu Club, Pendennis Club, etc.). Many recipe omit dry vermouth but the original recipe was resurrected at Brooklyn's Clover Club bar by Julie Reiner. 🍓 THREEFOLD RASPBERRY GIN: https://bit.ly/raspberry-gin 📚 SIGN UP FOR A COPY OF MY COCKTAIL BOOK: https://bit.ly/STB-cocktail-book 🌊 SURFSIDE SIPS (coupon: STB20) http://bit.ly/surfsidesips INGREDIENTS - 45ml dry gin - 15ml dry vermouth - 15ml lemon juice - 15ml raspberry syrup - 15ml egg white METHOD - dry shake, wet shake, double strain into a chilled coupe music - Ocean View - Gregory David 📈 MY MOST POPULAR VIDEOS 🎬 5 Quick & Easy Vodka Cocktails: https://youtu.be/1z5FCi-XpHQ 🎬 10 Easy Cocktails in 10 Minutes: https://youtu.be/IRkM8jsG-hY 🎬 How to make the Best Mojito: https://youtu.be/NANdz-YKMUw 🎬 The Best Whiskey Sour Recipes (Top 3): https://youtu.be/qQeS7ki7cQc 🍹 RECOMMENDED BARWARE: - Cocktail Shaker: https://amzn.to/3xfsURJ - Hawthorn Strainer: https://amzn.to/379aYwi - Japanese Jigger: https://amzn.to/3sECWYO - Citrus Press: https://amzn.to/3gxinv5 - Mixing Glass: https://amzn.to/3edlMMI - Mallet / Lewis Bag Set: https://amzn.to/2QjSfJu - Clear Ice Mould: https://amzn.to/3sDr0GP
