This is a very big crumble! It keeps well but if you don't want to make so much, this is a recipe that you can 1/2 or even 1/4 and it will still work great. Just make sure you use an appropriate size oven dish. Ingredients - 14 apples, peeled and cut into halves - juice of a lime (or lemon) - 3 tbsp brown sugar - 1 tsp cinnamon Crumble - 280g flour - 200g rolled oats - 220g unsalted butter, diced - 50g pumpkin seeds (optional) - 40g desiccated coconut (optional) - 250g brown sugar - 1.5 tsp baking powder - 1 tsp salt - ice cream to serve! Method 1. For the apples, simply mix through the lime juice, sugar and cinnamon and placed into an oven-safe dish. 2. Then, get your crumble ready by adding all the ingredients to a bowl and rubbing the butter into the dry ingredients until you form a sandy consistency. 3. Sprinkle the crumble over the top of the apples then place the whole thing into a 180c oven for 40 minutes or until golden brown and the apples are cooked through. 4. Serve hot with vanilla ice cream and enjoy!
