Stock cubes : 1.5€ a pack / containing 8 cubes = 0.18€ a cube. Used a cube for 5 tartines so 0.03€ Red Chicory : 3€ a kilo, usually 6 heads in a kilo, One bud ( 0.5€ and 166g ) supplies for 3 tartines, 0.17€ per tartine ( 55g ) and 10 calories 1 tbsp beef broth per tartine = 15g = 40 calories 1 bottle of decent red wine ( 3 euros ) = 6 glasses of wine, used 2 glasses = 1€ but that piece of meat makes for at least 5 tartines so 0.2€ per tartine. Brisket (not exactly the same cut but it's a bit tough to properly translate as english, us and french cuts are completely different ) = 13€ per kilo, 400g used in the video, makes for 5 tartines (80g of beef each, nice serving), so 1.04 euro per tartine and 124 calories PLUS --------------------------------------------- Did you noticed ?
