Instructions
Cream Butter and Sugars: Cream the butter, brown sugar, and white sugar on medium-high speed for about 3 to 4 minutes until fluffy.
Beat in Eggs: Beat in each egg well after each addition.
Mix Dry Ingredients: Before mixing flour into the butter, add salt, cornstarch, and baking soda. Use the smallest whisk to mix these together to get things cohesive.
Combine Dry and Wet Ingredients: Add the flour mixture to the butter mixture and mix until just combined.
Fold in Chocolate Chips and Pecans: Fold in chocolate chips and chopped pecans.
Form Cookies: Weigh out 7 to 8 oz per cookie ball.
Bake: Bake in the oven at 375°F for 12 to 13 minutes.
