Ingredients

  1. hot water - 4 cups (4 cups of hot water)
  2. Thai tea - 1/2 cup (half cup Thai tea leaves or tea mix)
  3. white sugar - 1/2 cup (half cup white sugar, adjust sweetness to taste)
  4. condensed milk - 3/4 cup (3/4 cup total (half cup + 1/4 cup) sweetened condensed milk)
  5. evaporated milk - 1 cup (1 cup evaporated milk or half and half as substitute)

Instructions

  1. Brew Thai Tea: Pour 4 cups of hot water over 1/2 cup Thai tea leaves. Let steep for about 5 minutes.
  2. Strain Tea: Pour the brewed tea through a tea filter or bag to strain out the tea leaves. Squeeze the bag to extract all the tea.
  3. Sweeten Tea: Add 1/2 cup white sugar to the hot tea and stir until fully dissolved.
  4. Add Milk: Add 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk and 1 cup evaporated milk (or half and half) to the sweetened tea. Mix well.
  5. Adjust Sweetness: Taste the mixture and add an additional 1/4 cup condensed milk if you prefer it sweeter. Mix again.
  6. Pour into Popsicle Molds: Pour the Thai iced tea mixture into popsicle molds. Insert sticks.
  7. Freeze: Freeze the popsicles for at least 8 hours or overnight until fully set.
  8. Serve: Remove popsicles from molds and enjoy. If they are difficult to remove, let them sit at room temperature for a few minutes or run warm water over the mold exterior.
