A method often used to maximize the flavor and juiciness of chicken by marinating it with a variety of delicious ingredients. This method can be applied to all cuts of chicken, including a whole chicken for oven roasting. The finished meat can be enjoyed with rice, noodles, in wraps, or as a side for fresh spring rolls. 1. chicken thighs (boneless) - 800 g
  2. soy sauce - 4 tablespoons
  3. vinegar - 2 tablespoons
  4. rice wine or white wine - 2/3 dl
  5. honey - 1 tablespoon
  6. black pepper - 2 teaspoons
  7. salt - 2 teaspoons
  8. shallots, finely grated - 2-4 (adjust to taste)
  9. garlic, finely grated - 2-4 cloves (adjust to taste)

Instructions

  1. Marinate the Chicken: Marinate the chicken in the large Fresh & Save bowl as shown in the video.
  2. Vacuum and Chill: Vacuum the bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, preferably overnight.
  3. Cooking: Place the chicken on a cold pan and turn the heat to high. Once you begin to hear sizzling, reduce the heat to medium and cook for about 15-20 minutes.
  4. Add Marinade: Halfway through cooking, add the marinade from the bowl to the pan and let it reduce to a fine glaze, which you then brush onto the chicken.
  5. Rest the Chicken: Let the cooked chicken rest for 10-12 minutes before cutting into it.
