Pomfret Fish Fry

South Indian style pomfret fish fry is One of the easiest and delicious dishes to make. Ingredients: Onion 1 Garlic pods 5-6 Pomfret 1 Chilli powder 1/2 teaspoon Pepper powder 1/2 teaspoon Garam masala 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder 1/4 teaspoon Hing Pinch Curry leaves 2 sprigs Tamarind paste 1 teaspoon Salt To taste RIce Flour 1/4 cup Coconut oil 1 tablespoon Method: 1. Firstly take a mixie jar, add chopped onion, garlic and grind it into a smooth paste 2. Now clean and put gashes on pomfret fish and keep aside. 3. Take a plate, add onion garlic paste, chilli powder, pepper powder, garam masala, turmeric, hing, chopped curry leaves, tamarind paste, salt and mix it well. 4. Now coat the fish with above masala and in rice flour and keep aside for 5mins. 5. Heat coconut oil in a pan put the fish and cook both sides of the fish till it is crispy. 6. Serve hot with sambar or rasam rice.
