A very popular snack of tamilnadu which is also called as round onion pakoda. These pakodas are made with the combination of chickpeas flour and rice flour in round shape. http://www.vahrehvah.com/patnam-pakodi Ingredients: Ingredient Measure Units Chick pea flour 2 cups Rice flour 1/2 cup Salt to taste Baking soda 1/4 tsp. Chili powder 1 tsp. Ghee 1 tbsp. Green Chili (chopped) 4 Number Ginger (chopped) 1/2 tsp. Curry leaves 2 sprigs Coriander 1/2 bunch Cashew nuts 10 grams Directions -- Method: 1. Take a mixing bowl add chick pea flour, rice flour, salt, baking soda mix it well, then add Chili powder, ghee mix it like shot crust method, keep it aside. 2. Take another bowl add slices of onions, salt, chopped green Chili, finely chopped ginger, curry leaves, coriander leaves mix it well and rest it for few minutes. 3. Add the cashew nuts (soak them into the water) to chick pea flour mixture and add the onion mixture, sprinkle some water and mix it well. 4. Make them into roundels and deep fry in the hot oil.
