Methi Chaman Chicken

Methi chaman chicken is tasty green colour non veg curry, where chicken is cooked with fenugreek leaves and spinach. INGREDIENTS: Fenugreek 1 bunch Spinach 2 bunch Water as required Oil 2 tbs Onion(chopped) ½ cup Salt To taste Turmeric powder ¼ tsp Green chillies 2 nos Garlic 5-6 cloves Chicken 700 gms Coriander powder ½ tsp Cumin powder ½ tsp Garam masala powder ¼ tsp Pepper powder(crushed) 1 tsp Nutmeg powder 1 pinch Tomato puree ½ cup Fresh cream 1-2 tbs Lime juice 1-2 tsp METHOD: 1. Chop the fenugreek and spinach leaves and keep aside. 2. Heat water in a pan, spinach, fenugreek leaves and steam cook without lid on it. 3. Transfer into blender and make a smooth green paste. 4. Heat oil in a pan, add onions, little salt, turmeric powder, green chillies, garlic, chicken and saute it. 5. Add coriander powder, cumin powder, garam masala powder, crush pepper powder, nutmeg powder tomato puree and mix nicely, later place lid and cook it for 3-4 mins with lid on it. 6. Once chicken is cooked add green paste and mix it. 7. Check for seasoning, add salt and cook for another 4-5 mins. 8. Add fresh cream, lime juice and mix nicely. 9. Now transfer into serving bowl and serve it with rice.
