Chicken Rasam Rice Ingredients:- Raw Rice : 25g Masoor Dal : 25g Chicken boneless - 75g Butter - 1 tb spn Onion - 2 tb spn Celery- 2 tb spn Fresh Fennel - 2 tb spn Cucumber- 2 tb spn Tomatoes- 2 tb spn Ridge gourd- 2 tb spn Garlic - 1 tsp Boiled potatoes- 2 tb spn Chicken stock - 1 litre(skimmed) Rasam powder- 1 tsp Crushed pepper - 1 tsp Lemon - 1 Coriander leaves - few sprigs Curry leaves- 2 sprigs Method:- In a pan add rice & masoor dal , dry roast them for 3-4 minutes. Now grind them into a coarse rava. In a pan add butter, finely diced chicken, saute it for few minutes & add coarse rava of rice & dal. Add chopped vegetables, chicken stock & let it boil till it gets slightly thicker. Add salt, rasam powder, crushed pepper , lemon juice and simmer it. In the last add chopped coriander leaves & curry leaves. Serve it hot & enjoy it as a whole meal. Transform the humble rasam into a comforting and nourishing meal.
