Daal Kachori Recipe in English: Ingredients: -Cooking oil 2-3 tbs -Zeera (Cumin seeds) ½ tbs -Saunf (Fennel seeds) crushed 1 tsp -Sabut dhania (Coriander seeds) crushed 1 tbs -Lehsan (Garlic) chopped 1 tbs -Hari mirch (Green chilli) finely chopped 2 tbs -Chaat masala 1 tsp -Lal mirch powder (Red chilli powder) ½ tbs or to taste -Namak (Salt) 1 tsp or to taste -Haldee powder (Turmeric powder) ½ tsp -Besan (Gram flour) 4-5 tbs -Mong daal (Yellow lentil) 1 Cup (soaked & boiled) -Hara dhania (Fresh coriander) chopped 2 tbs -Plain paratha 10-12 -Cooking oil for frying Directions: -In a wok,add cooking oil,cumin seeds,fennel seeds,coriander seeds,garlic and mix well for a minute. -Add green chilli and mix well. -Add chaat masala,red chilli powder,salt and turmeric powder,mix well and cook for 1 minute. -Add gram flour,mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes. -Add boiled yellow lentil,fresh coriander,mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes. -Let it cool. -Sprinkle dry flour on working surface,place plain paratha and fold all four sides to make a square shape. -Add prepared lentil filling (2 tbs) then fold & seal all the edges to make a kachori (makes 10-12). -In a wok,heat cooking oil and fry kachori on medium low flame until crispy & golden brown. -Serve with tomato ketchup!
